Although at least five of the projects I am currently working on cannot be blogged about at the moment (well, I could, but an NDA says I really mustn't), I can at least mention I've been working on Rome Total War for iPhone.
As Rome is such a complex strategy game, there's a lot of information to make available on a much smaller screen, so we have taken the decision to redesign the UI specifically for iPhone. Context-sensitive menus make it easier to give the main features prominence while not scrimping on the full experience. At least, that's the idea.
We've also added some extra features for understanding your character's stats, improved status information in battles, and even increased the maximum zoom* on the campaign map, amongst other things. We're all still busy beavering away on this, so keep your eyes peeled if you like Rome Total War and iPhones.
*The slick new auto-zoom has been ditched, after playtesting proved it didn't live up to the 'slick' part of the name. Such is game design.
